This Remington manufactured receiver is for the model 742 BDL Woodsmaster semi-auto rifle and includes the receiver stud and barrel extension bolt. The overall condition is very good retaining 95-97% original blue finish with light wear and just the slightest signs of chatter marks starting to appear on the rails. These chatter marks are caused by the teeth on the breech bolt and are a major problem with these rifles. This is the only part on the model 742 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.
